One of five shift solenoids in the Allison 1000 internal solenoid pack.

Fitment

2001-present GMC Sierra HD, Chevy Silverado HD with Duramax + Allison 1000.

Common failure symptoms

P0751, P0752, harsh shifts, stuck in gear, no upshift under load — typical Duramax tow-truck symptom

Electrical / install specs

Internal harness connector.
Allison-spec replacement only — aftermarket compatibles often fail.

Run a resistance check before condemning. Bad wiring, corroded harness pins, or a failing PCM driver can cause identical symptoms.

Replacement procedure

Allison rebuild requires transmission out of vehicle (most cases)
Drop pan and filter
Solenoid pack mounts internally to valve body
Replace as full pack — individual solenoid R&R not practical
Use Allison TES-295 or TES-668 fluid ONLY
Torque pack to spec
