Replacement procedure

  1. Drop pan and filter
  2. Locate solenoid on valve body face
  3. Disconnect harness clip
  4. Remove retaining bolt
  5. Pull straight out, install new
  6. Torque mounting bolt
  7. Refill with Mercon V (Mercon - the original, not LV)
