What it does

Houses all electronic shift solenoids for the 10R80 ten-speed planetary set.

Fitment

2017-present Ford F-150, Expedition, Mustang GT, Navigator with 10R80 ten-speed.

Common failure symptoms

P0750, P0775, harsh shifts, no shift past 7th, slipping under load, transmission entering limp mode

Electrical / install specs

Replace as a full assembly.
Sonnax and ATSG have published solenoid-block bench tests.

Run a resistance check before condemning. Bad wiring, corroded harness pins, or a failing PCM driver can cause identical symptoms.

Replacement procedure

Drop pan and filter
Remove TCM mounting bracket
Disconnect external harness
Remove 8 bolts holding solenoid body to valve body
Pull solenoid body straight up
Lubricate new gasket with Mercon ULV
Torque bolts 89 in-lbs in cross pattern
Refill with Mercon ULV (NOT Mercon LV — 10R80 spec is ULV)
