Bolt-in rebuilt valve body for the GM 4L80E (MT1, 2004-up) with the updated actuator feed limit valve, new solenoids, separator plate and filter.
This is a fully assembled, ready-to-bolt-on valve body for the GM 4L80E and 4L85E, built for the MT1 RPO 2004-and-newer wiring configuration. It goes straight into the transmission out of the box, so you are not tearing down and reassembling a used core on the bench. It is the same valve body a working transmission shop drops into the units it rebuilds and sells.
The important part is what is done to it. It comes with the updated actuator feed limit valve (Sonnax #A34741L) already installed and reamed to size. That bore wears oval on high-mileage 4L80E units and is the single most overlooked cause of low line pressure, soft or slipping shifts, and repeat comebacks after a rebuild. Correcting it normally requires a special reaming fixture that valve is worth roughly fifty dollars on its own, and here it is already handled.
The unit ships with a new separator plate, a new TCC (lockup) solenoid, new shift solenoids, upper and lower valve body gaskets, a pan gasket, a new filter, and a printed check-ball location diagram so you set the balls correctly on install. It fits the full range of 4L80E MT1 applications found behind GM trucks and SUVs (Silverado and Sierra 2500/3500, Suburban, Express and Savana vans, Hummer H2) using the 2004-up internal harness. Confirm your transmission carries the MT1 code and the later-style wiring before ordering.
