Remanufactured solenoid block for Ram, Jeep and Chrysler 65RFE, 66RFE, 545RFE (2009-18) and 68RFE transmissions; cures erratic shifts and solenoid codes.
This is a fully remanufactured solenoid block, part number 44836B-RRP, for the Chrysler family of RFE automatic transmissions. It fits the 65RFE, 66RFE, the 2009 through 2018 545RFE, and the 68RFE. These units use a 23-pin gray connector, so match your connector and transmission code before ordering because the RFE line changed pin counts and calibrations across model years and engines.
The solenoid block is the electro-hydraulic pack that controls line pressure and shift timing for every gear. When one of the solenoids sticks, leaks internally, or drifts out of spec, you get the classic RFE complaints: harsh or delayed engagement, flare on the 1-2 or 4-5 shift, slipping under load, converter clutch shudder, or a limp-mode trigger with shift-solenoid and pressure codes stored. Rather than chase an intermittent solenoid, most techs replace the whole block once it starts acting up.
This block is disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt with new seals and springs, then tested to original-equipment electrical and functional specs before it ships. It is a direct replacement and does not require a separate TRS selector plate, so it drops into the valve body the same way the factory unit came out. Reuse or replace the transmission filter and refill with the correct spec fluid when you install it.
Common applications include the Ram 2500 and 3500 with the 68RFE behind the 6.7L Cummins, Ram 1500 with the 66RFE behind the 5.7L Hemi, and the 545RFE and 65RFE found in Jeep Grand Cherokee and Commander, Dodge Durango and Dakota, and Chrysler Aspen. Always confirm fitment by VIN, transmission code, and OE part number.
