Drives the pressed-in case, pump and shaft bushings into a GM 6L80 or 6L90 six-speed square and to depth so a fresh bushing seats without cocking.
When you overhaul a GM 6L80 or 6L90 (the six-speed RWD automatic behind Chevy and GMC trucks and SUVs from 2006 up), the case, pump, and drums carry pressed-in bushings that wear and let line pressure bleed off. Driving a new bushing in with the wrong-size punch is how you cock it in the bore, gall the aluminum, or ruin the bushing before it is even seated.
This set gives you seven hardened, black-finish bushing drivers sized to the 6L80 and 6L90 bores, plus two handles. Each driver rides on the outside diameter of the bushing and pilots in the bore, so you tap the bushing home flat and to the right depth instead of eyeballing it with a socket. It covers the input shaft, output shaft, and the other case and pump bushings you replace during a 6L80/6L90 rebuild.
Fits 6L80 and 6L90 six-speed transmissions only, 2006-on, in Chevrolet Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban and Express, GMC Sierra, Yukon and Savana, Cadillac Escalade, and Hummer. Bushings are not included; this is the driver tooling. Replaces part number 104bdmk / 6L80-Tool. Ships from the USA, handling in 1-2 business days.
