722.6 NAG1 W5A580 Valve Body, Conductor Plate, Solenoids

The 722.6 is the Mercedes-sourced 5-speed automatic that Chrysler badged NAG1, built in the heavier-duty W5A580 and lighter W5A330 variants. It sits behind a large share of the 2000s Mopar rear-drive lineup. This is a remanufactured valve body that ships with the conductor plate and the shift, pressure, and TCC solenoids already fitted, so it installs as one assembly instead of a bare casting you have to populate on the bench.

Fitment: 2002-2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2008-2012 Jeep Liberty (KK), 2006-2014 Dodge Charger, 2009-2014 Dodge Challenger, and 2011-2012 Dodge Durango (V6). It supersedes Mopar part numbers 52108258AA, 52108266AB, 52108216AA, 52108213AB/AA, 52108308AC, and R8434030AA. The 722.6 went through several conductor-plate revisions, so match your existing plate part number and connector before ordering.

A worn valve body or a failing conductor plate is behind the most common complaints on these units: limp mode, a stuck gear, harsh or delayed 2-3 shifts, wandering shift points, and internal speed-sensor codes in the P0715/P0720 family. Swapping this pre-assembled unit lets you replace the hydraulic control and the electronics together during a fluid-and-filter service or a full rebuild, instead of chasing one solenoid at a time.
