Complete reseal and gasket set for the Hyundai and Kia A6LF1 and A6LF2 six-speed automatic, covering the 2009-2016 Santa Fe, Sonata, Sorento and Sportage.
This is the overhaul (reseal) kit for the A6LF1 and A6LF2, the six-speed transverse automatic Hyundai and Kia built in-house behind their 2.0L through 3.8L cars and crossovers. It carries TRANSPEED part T21302A and covers the 2009-2016 Santa Fe, Sonata, Grandeur, Azera and Tucson ix, plus the Kia Sorento, Sportage, Grand Carnival and Opirus. Confirm the case tag reads A6LF1 or A6LF2 before ordering, since the A6MF and A6GF units use different seals.
The kit is the full soft-parts refresh you install during a teardown: the pan and case gasket set, every lip seal and o-ring, the clutch piston seals, and the Teflon and bonded sealing rings that ride on the drums and pump. It does not include friction plates, steel plates, the filter or hard parts, so it is meant for a reseal or to combine with a friction pack when you already have good clutches.
On the bench the drill is straightforward: strip the unit down, clean and inspect the drums, servo bores and pump, then reassemble with every piece of old rubber replaced rather than reused. Hardened, shrunken seals are what let these units cross-leak and drop line pressure, which shows up as slipping, delayed engagement and burnt fluid. Replacing the whole seal set in one pass is what restores clean apply pressure and stops the leaks from coming back.
