Allison 1000/2000/2400 Overhaul Gasket & Seal Kit 00-05

This is the full gasket and seal overhaul package for the Allison 1000, 2000, and 2400 five-speed automatics used behind the 6.6L Duramax and 8.1L Vortec, model years 2000 through 2005. When you have the transmission on the bench for a clutch job, a leaking pan, or a front seal replacement, this kit gives you every soft part you need to close it back up sealed and leak-free in one box instead of chasing individual seals from three suppliers.

Inside you get the pan gasket, all the lip seals and O-rings for the pump and drums, the sealing rings, and the metal-clad seals that go dry and hard with age and heat. These are the parts that cause the classic Allison complaints on high-mileage Duramax trucks: fluid weeping from the pan rail, a wet spot under the bellhousing from a failed front pump seal, and cross-leaks inside the case that show up as a soft or delayed shift.

Use it any time you split the case: after a converter or pump swap, during a solenoid or valve body service that requires pulling the pan and drums, or as part of a full teardown.
