Universal 30-row stacked-plate cooler with 10AN ports that plumbs inline to pull heat out of automatic transmission fluid on tow rigs, swaps, and high-load builds.
Heat is the number one thing that kills an automatic. Once fluid climbs past roughly 200 degrees, clutch life drops fast and the ATF starts to break down and turn dark. Towing, grades, big tires, and stop-and-go traffic all drive temperatures up, and the small cooler built into the radiator tank often cannot keep up. This is a high-capacity auxiliary cooler you add to the circuit to get that heat back out before it does damage.
It uses a stacked-plate (bar-and-plate) core rather than a basic tube-and-fin design. Stacked plates route fluid through a longer, turbulent path with far more surface area, so they shed more heat per square inch of frontal area. The 30-row core measures 12.91 by 10.04 by 1.97 inches, holds about 0.74 liter of fluid, and is built from welded aluminum alloy. It is tested to 116 PSI with a burst rating of 232 PSI, so it stands up to line pressure spikes on a hard-working transmission.
The two ports are AN-10 (10AN) O-ring bosses, which lets you run -10 braided line or step down to 3/8 or 1/2 inch hose with adapter fittings for a clean, high-flow plumb. Being universal, it is not a bolt-on for one specific vehicle: you mount it in front of the condenser or radiator where it gets good airflow and splice it inline with your existing cooler lines. It also works as an engine-oil or differential cooler if you plumb it into those circuits instead. Install hardware and instructions are included. Ships from the USA.
