
Adjustable two-jaw puller that grips the stator support tube and walks the front oil pump straight out of GM and Ford cases without prying on the bolt bosses.
When you split a case for a rebuild, the front pump is bolted into the bellhousing and often stuck to its gasket and dowels. Prying it out with a screwdriver against the bolt bosses is how techs crack pump bodies and gouge sealing surfaces. This puller hooks a pair of jaws under the hump on the stator support tube and pulls the whole pump assembly out square, so nothing binds and nothing gets bent.
The jaws adjust to fit a wide range of pumps. It covers the GM Turbo 350, Turbo 400, 200, 200-4R, and the 4L60E/4L65E/4L75E family, plus Ford C6, E4OD, and 4R100 pumps, and Chrysler TorqueFlite TF-8 units with the fat stator splines. On anything else, if the stator tube has a raised hump for the jaws to grab, this tool will pull it.
Set the two jaws under the tube hump, snug them evenly, and draw the pump up out of the case a little at a time, keeping it level so the pump bushing and the dowels release without cocking. It doubles as a bench fixture for holding a pump while you split the body from the stator to change the pump bushing, seal, or gear set. Made in the USA from steel. Ships from the USA.
