Clamps Ford E4OD, 4R100, and 5R110W valve bodies dead-square so a standard reamer cuts worn boost and pressure-regulator bores back to spec.
A self-aligning reaming fixture for rebuilding worn valve bodies on the Ford E4OD (1989-1997), 4R100 (1998-2005), and 5R110W TorqShift (2003-2017). Bolt the valve body to the base plate, drop the outer races and inner race studs over the bore you are cutting, and the fixture centers the reamer so it runs true through the bore instead of walking and cutting oversize on one side. It is built to work with standard reamer kits and the VB-FIX style tooling most shops already own.
Worn valve bores are what put these units on the bench in the first place. When the boost valve, pressure regulator, or line pressure bores wash out, the aluminum can no longer seal against the valve, so line pressure drops and drifts. That shows up as soft or slipping shifts, delayed engagement, converter clutch shudder and P0741/P1744 codes, and burnt frictions on a fresh rebuild. Reaming the bore round and true so it accepts an oversized replacement valve restores the hydraulic control the factory bore has lost.
Because the fixture holds the casting square and repeatable, you get the same result on every valve body instead of chasing alignment by hand, which is what makes it worth having in a high-volume shop. Paired with the matching reamer for the bore you are correcting, it also adapts to a range of other Ford, GM, and Chrysler valve bodies. Ships from the USA.
