Turns a Mityvac MV7201 extractor into a pressurized ATF refill rig, with 13 fill-plug adapters for sealed foreign and domestic transmissions.
This is the accessory kit that converts a Mityvac MV7201 fluid extractor into a transmission refill unit. Instead of pulling fluid out, the tank pushes ATF up through a hose and into the fill plug, which is the only practical way to service the sealed units that have no dipstick tube. The kit is the accessory package only - the MV7201 tank itself is sold separately.
Thirteen adapters cover the common fill-plug threads on foreign and domestic automatics: GM 6L80 and 6T70 family, Ford 6R series, ZF 6HP and 8HP, Mercedes 722.9, VW/Audi 09G and DSG, Honda and Toyota. A quick-change coupler on the end of the hose lets you swap from one adapter to the next without draining the line, so a shop running mixed work is not breaking down the setup between jobs.
An integrated brass ball valve sits inline at the hose end. You crack it open to start flow and shut it the instant fluid weeps back at the fill hole, which is what keeps a level-check fill from turning into a mess on the floor and under the vehicle. Because the tank is pressurized rather than gravity fed, you can fill from below with the vehicle at temperature and hold the check plug open while the excess runs out to level - the correct procedure on most modern sealed boxes.
Typical use: bring the unit to spec temperature, plumb the adapter into the fill port, open the valve, pump until fluid runs back out the check port, close the valve and pull the hose. No funnels, no dipstick tube, no siphoning by hand.
