Bolts a GM TH350, TH400, 200-4R or 700-R4 transmission to the bench and swings a full 360 degrees so you can work the valve body and pull the pump.
This is a universal GM transmission holding fixture with its own bench-mount base. You bolt the transmission case to the fixture and it swings a full 360 degrees on the mount, locking at any angle with two tightening handles. Instead of wrestling a heavy case flat on the bench, you can spin it nose-up to drop the pump, roll it over to pull the valve body, or hold it level to set clutch packs and check endplay. A lifting ring is welded on so you can move it with a hoist.
It fits the common GM units a rebuilder sees every week: 180C (3L30), 200, 200C, 200-4R, 250, 250-C, 350, 350-C, 375, 400 (3L80), 425, 475 (3L80-HD), and 700-R4 / 4L60E. The 4L80E mounts with an optional adapter (Streetside SST-2901, sold separately). The fixture is all-steel, weighs about 15 pounds, and cross-references to the Kent-Moore J-8763-B and Atec Trans-Tool T-0156-B fixtures shops already know.
The base is designed to bolt to a bench; many builders also run the fixture end on a rolling engine stand for the same 360-degree access. As with any holding fixture, snug both locking handles before you let go of the case and index the mounting bolts evenly so the transmission hangs square rather than cocked at an angle. Ships from the USA.
