Bolt-on steel saddle that turns a common floor jack into a transmission jack, cradling the case with a raised three-sided lip so it won't slide off during R and R.
This is a heavy steel cradle plate with a slip-in shaft that drops into the saddle cup of a standard floor jack, converting it into a transmission jack in seconds. Instead of fighting a full dedicated trans jack in a tight bay, you set the transmission or transfer case on the wide platform and lower it out from under the vehicle on the jack you already own.
The platform has raised lips on three sides that box the case in, so it stays put while you break loose the bellhousing bolts and walk the unit back off the dowels. There is enough deck space to shim the case level with a couple of 2x4 blocks for odd shapes like a transfer case, and side holes let you run an eye bolt and ratchet strap for extra security while you move the load.
Fitment note: the shaft is sized for older slip-in saddle jacks with a roughly 1-3/16 inch (about 30mm) round saddle hole. Jacks with a small threaded saddle, common on many newer import floor jacks, will not accept it without modification. The factory coating is thick, and some users lightly sand the shaft to seat it fully in the cup.
