Non-lockup 2700-3000 RPM stall converter for GM TH350 and TH400 builds, 30-spline with a 10.75-inch bolt circle, rated to 500 HP on a small block.
A non-lockup performance torque converter for the GM TH350 (Turbo 350) and TH400 (Turbo 400) three-speed automatics. It flashes to a 2700-3000 RPM stall, so it lets a cammed small block get up on the converter and into its powerband off the line instead of bogging, while still driving civil on the street with minimal creep at a stoplight.
Fitment is the small 10.750-inch flexplate bolt circle (or a dual-pattern flexplate) with a 30-spline turbine hub. This is the stall range that suits roughly a 265-300 degree advertised cam duration, 3.00-4.56 rear gear, and a mild-to-warm small block up to about 500 horsepower without nitrous or a blower. For big block combinations step up to an XHD-rated unit instead.
Note it will not work in a transmission set up for a lockup (TCC) converter, so it is intended for early non-lockup TH350/TH400 cases and swaps. Balance the converter to your engine and use the correct converter-to-flexplate bolts. Ships from the USA, handling in 1-2 business days.
