Reworks the Gen 2 6T70, 6T75, and 6T80 valve body to restore line pressure and firm up 2013-on GM shifts, curing slip, flare, and delayed engagement.
The TransGo SK-6T70-G2 is a valve body recalibration and shift kit for the second-generation GM 6T70, 6T75, and 6T80 six-speed automatics (the 2013-on Gen 2 castings, without the early pressure-switch setup). It drops into the same wide FWD and AWD V6 family GM used across Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, GMC, Pontiac, Saturn, and Suzuki: Traverse, Enclave, Acadia, Impala, Malibu, Equinox, Terrain, LaCrosse, SRX, XTS, Captiva, and others.
These units are known for wearing the aluminum valve body bores over miles. As the actuator-feed and pressure-regulator circuits leak down, you get soft or delayed engagement, 2-3 and 3-4 slip, torque converter shudder, and pressure codes. Left alone the low pressure cooks the clutches and the unit ends up on the bench. The kit resets line and actuator pressure so the clutches apply with real clamp instead of slipping.
Install it during a valve body service or a full overhaul. You swap in the kit springs, checkballs, and calibrated valves, do the drilling and reaming called out in the printed instructions, then reassemble. This version does not touch the pressure switches, so it is a cleaner job than the first-gen kit. It fits GM 6T70, 6T75, and 6T80 Gen 2 transmissions, 2013 and newer.
