Threads onto a standard slide hammer to pull the servo capsule out of a GM 700-R4 or 4L60E case in one motion, without prying on or scoring the bore.
The servo capsule in a GM 700-R4 or 4L60E sits pressed down into the case, and there is no clean way to grab it with hand tools. Pry on it and you nick the bore or distort the capsule; leave it and you cannot reach the seals behind it. This attachment threads into the capsule so a slide hammer can pull it straight up and out, square to the bore, in a single motion.
It is made for the GM 700-R4 and 4L60E family, the same case you find behind small-block Chevys and countless GM trucks, vans, and swaps. On the bench it removes the tedious, damage-prone part of a rebuild or a seal job, and it works just as well freshening a used case before it goes back into service.
One thing to know before you order: this is the removal attachment only, not a complete slide hammer. You supply your own slide hammer, and it accepts a standard slide-hammer thread, so common slide hammers thread right in. Manufacturer part number TMXT-700-307. Ships from the USA.
