Complete metal-clad seal, gasket, O-ring and lip-seal set to reseal a GM 6T70 or 6T75 Gen 2 six-speed automatic during a 2013-up overhaul.
This is the TransTec overhaul kit for the GM 6T70 and 6T75 Gen 2 six-speed automatic transaxle, the front-drive unit found across GM cars and crossovers. It is the complete soft-parts set for a reseal: every gasket, metal-clad seal, O-ring, lip seal and sealing ring needed to close the unit back up. TransTec is an OE-level sealing supplier, so the rubber and metal-clad seals match the material and fit the case was built with.
Fitment is the 6T70/6T75 Gen 2 (2013-up) valve body and case design. That covers units like the Chevrolet Impala, Malibu, Equinox, Traverse and Camaro V6; Buick LaCrosse, Regal and Enclave; Cadillac SRX and XTS; and GMC Acadia and Terrain. The part carries manufacturer number 81001279 (also cross-referenced 2637). The 6T70 ran in two generations, so confirm your unit is the later 2013-up build before ordering.
You reach for this kit any time the transaxle comes apart. On a full rebuild you drop in fresh soft parts while the clutches and valve body are out, so you are not chasing a weep six months later. It is also the kit for a leak-driven job: pump seals, axle lip seals, pan gasket and case-half sealing all live here. Because this is a reseal kit, it does not include friction plates or steel plates, so pair it with a friction and steel set when you are doing a complete overhaul.
