About this product

This is a roll-under transmission service jack rated at 1/2 ton (1,000 lb) for pulling and reinstalling automatic and manual transmissions, transfer cases, and gas tanks on the shop floor. It rolls flat under a vehicle that is up on a lift or on jack stands, then the hydraulic ram raises the load on a broad saddle from a low 6.7 inches up to 26.4 inches, so one person can support the unit while breaking loose the bellhousing bolts.

The saddle tilts fore and aft and the head mounts universally, which is what lets you match the angle the transmission sits at in the car instead of fighting it up onto a flat platform. A safety chain straps the case down so it cannot slide off the saddle while you maneuver it out, and a built-in overload valve keeps the ram from being pumped past its rated capacity.

The frame is high-grade steel with a wide reinforced base for stability under a loaded case, and the pump handle rotates a full 360 degrees so you can stand wherever there is room under the vehicle. The powder-coated finish holds up to spilled ATF and shop wear. It ships mostly pre-assembled.
