U150E / U151E Transmission Master Rebuild Kit - Toyota / Lexus

This is the complete master kit for the U150E and U151E five-speed automatics, the FWD and AWD unit Toyota and Lexus ran behind the 3.5L V6 for most of the 2000s. It covers the U150E, U151E and the AWD U150F and U151F variants. In real cars that means the Camry and Avalon V6, the Solara, the Highlander, and the Lexus RX330, RX350 and ES350. When one of these lets go it is almost always slipping clutches and hardened seals, and this kit puts every one of those wear items back in new.

In the box are 30 friction plates and 30 matched steel plates, enough to refill every clutch pack in the unit, along with the full overhaul package: the paper and rubber gaskets, the metal-clad and lip seals, the O-rings, the molded sealing rings, and the thrust washers. The friction material is Transnation-grade, so the clutches take heat and hold line pressure without glazing over the way a tired stock pack does after 150k miles.

Order this when the transmission is coming all the way apart on the bench and you want it sealed, re-clutched and back together in one shot. Before you buy, match your unit against the U150 or U151 stamping and the fitment above so you get the right clutch count. Note this kit does not include the oil pan filter, so add one to your order if the old one is due.
