All the bearings, races, seals, and gaskets to rebuild the New Process NP241DHD narrow-input transfer case in 1997-2002 Dodge Ram 4x4 trucks.
Complete bearing, race, seal, and gasket kit to rebuild the New Process NP241DHD transfer case, the heavy-duty unit used in 1997-2002 Dodge Ram 4x4 trucks behind the 5.9L Cummins and the gas V8s. USA Standard Gear part number ZTBK241B.
This is the narrow-input version of the kit. The NP241 was built in both narrow and wide input configurations depending on the transmission behind it, so match your existing input gear or measure the input bearing before ordering. This kit runs a 16 mm (0.63") wide input bearing, a 1.614" OD input pocket bearing, the large pocket bearing, and fits the one-piece tail housing case.
On the bench you split the case, press the worn bearings off the input and output shafts and out of the case bores, then drive in the new roller bearings and set all new seals and gaskets on reassembly. Doing the full bearing and seal set at once is what stops the comeback: a high-mileage NP241DHD that whines, slaps its chain, or weeps at the tail seal is almost always running worn bearings and hardened seals, and replacing one without the others just moves the failure down the line.
Alloy steel roller bearings, backed by a 2-year manufacturer defect warranty. Ships from the USA, handling in 1-2 business days.
