The 3650 replaced the T45 for the 2001 model year, so if your GT has a five-speed and a 4.6, this is the box you open when the transmission starts making noise or leaking.

The classic 3650 complaint is a bearing whine that rises with road speed and quiets down when you push the clutch pedal in, usually the input and countershaft bearings wearing after high miles or hard launches.
