A transmission tools and parts store run by drivetrain people, for the people who actually pull, rebuild, and reinstall gearboxes.

Who we are

Gearbox Insider started as a set of diagnostic write-ups and fluid spec references for independent transmission shops. The store grew out of a simple, repeated frustration: the tools and parts that show up in every rebuild are scattered across a dozen suppliers, marked up unevenly, and often shipped slow from warehouses that never touched a transmission. We decided to stock the good stuff ourselves and ship it fast.

What we sell

We carry the rebuild tools, hydraulic jacks, seal installers, and hard parts that come up over and over on the bench. Everything we list is chosen because we would use it ourselves, not because it carries the fattest margin. If a cheaper tool does the job just as well, that is the one we stock.

Our mission

Sell dependable transmission tools and parts at a fair price, ship them fast from the USA, and back them with honest answers. We would rather earn a repeat customer than win one order and lose the relationship. That is the whole strategy.

How we operate

Orders are packed and handed to the carrier within 1-2 business days, with tracked shipping and a 30-day return window on unused items. Questions get answered by people who know the difference between a 4L60E and a 4L80E, not a scripted call center.
