A340E Transmission Valve Body with Solenoids for Lexus

A complete replacement valve body with solenoids already mounted for the Aisin Warner A340-family 4-speed rear-wheel-drive automatic. It is listed for the A340, A340E, A340F, A341, A343 and A343E and the Volvo AW30-43 / AW30-70LE, with Lexus LX450, LX470 and GS300 as listed applications.

The A340 family changed casting and solenoid layout across years and between 2WD and 4WD versions, so pull your pan, compare the solenoid count, connector and bolt pattern on your old valve body to the photos, and confirm before ordering. This is a bolt-in swap, not a universal part.

A valve body swap is the fix when worn bores or a sticking shift valve cause late or harsh shifts, no lockup, or shift codes that come back after replacing individual solenoids. Drain the pan, unplug the harness, pull the valve body bolts while holding the checkballs and accumulator springs in place, then install the new unit with the correct bolt lengths and torque them evenly. Refill with the specified ATF and check the level hot.
