Everything needed to reset a Chrysler 9.25 rear axle: Koyo carrier and pinion bearings, crush sleeve, full shim kit, seal, ring gear bolts.
This is the full reset kit for a Chrysler 9.25 inch rear axle. When you pull the cover and find pitted carrier races, a howling pinion, or gear oil weeping past the pinion seal, replacing one bearing at a time is a waste of a Saturday. A master overhaul kit gives you every wear item that has to come out anyway once the carrier is on the bench, so the axle goes back together with fresh preload and a clean pattern.
What is in the box: Koyo carrier bearings and races, Koyo pinion bearings and races, pinion seal, complete shim kit, ring gear bolts, pinion nut, crush sleeve, thread locker, marking compound with brush, and the cover gasket. The shim kit is the part people forget to order and then end up reusing old shims on a new bearing stack, which is how backlash ends up out of spec.
Fitment covers the 2001 to 2009 Chrysler 9.25 rear: Dodge Ram 1500 (2001-2010), Dodge Dakota (2001-2010), Dodge Durango (2001-2009), Chrysler Aspen (2006-2009), Dodge Ram Van 1500 and 2500 (2001-2003), and Mitsubishi Raider (2006-2009). This is the standard 9.25, not the later ZF 235mm rear used on 2011-up trucks and not the 9.25 front axle - those take different kits.
On the bench: press the old races out, set pinion depth with the shim pack, crush the new sleeve to spec on the pinion nut, then shim the carrier for backlash and check the pattern with the included marking compound before you button the cover down. Reusing the old crush sleeve is the number one cause of a rebuilt 9.25 coming back with pinion bearing noise.
