1322 lb Two-Stage Telescoping Hydraulic Transmission Jack

This is a two-stage telescoping transmission jack for pulling and installing units with the vehicle up on a lift. Rated lift capacity is 1322 lb (600 kg) and transport capacity is 1100 lb (500 kg), which covers the heavy stuff a half-ton jack will not: a loaded 4L80E, 6L90, 68RFE or Allison 1000 with a converter still in it, plus transfer cases, axles and driveshafts.

Lift range is 34.6 to 69.3 inches (880 to 1760 mm) off two rams, so it reaches a truck on a two-post without you stacking wood under the saddle. The tray rotates a full 360 degrees and tilts up to 30 degrees, and the mounting plate adjusts in width, which is how you get the input shaft to line up with the converter hub instead of prying a transmission into the bellhousing. The pump runs off a foot pedal so both hands stay on the unit, and the return valve lets it down slowly instead of dropping.

The base is an X pattern on four large swivel casters, two with brakes, so it rolls where you need it and then locks. It ships with a seal repair kit, and the manufacturer notes the vehicle must be supported on a lift and the load chained to the tray.

Assembly is legs, casters, cylinder and tray. Before the first lift, cycle the ram through full travel a few times with no load to bleed the air out, and check that the return valve fully closes. Set the brakes any time a unit is on the tray.
