6L Heated Ultrasonic Parts Cleaner for Valve Bodies

A heated 40 kHz ultrasonic tank sized for transmission bench work. It runs three 60 W transducers (180 W total) into a 304 stainless tank measuring 12.8 x 6.9 x 5.9 inches, so cavitation reaches into valve bore lands, solenoid screens, pump crescents, and the drilled passages in a separator plate that no brush and no can of spray cleaner will ever touch. The 200 W heater and digital panel let you set 0-80 C and a 0-30 minute cycle; hot solution plus cavitation is what actually lifts baked varnish and clutch lining dust off aluminum.

On the bench this replaces the parts-washer soak that leaves grit behind. Pull the valves and springs out of the body, lay them in the basket with a water-based cleaner, run 15 to 30 minutes at 50-60 C, then blow everything dry with compressed air before it flash-rusts. Solenoids, checkballs, accumulator pistons, filters, TCC regulator valves, and separator plates all come out with clean, sharp edges. Measure your core first: the tank interior is 12.8 inches long, so small and mid-size valve bodies drop straight in while larger truck bodies (4L80E, 6L80E, Allison) may need to go in sectioned or one end at a time.

A 3/8 inch NPT ball drain valve is fitted to the tank with a hose and barb included, so you empty dirty solution without lifting a full tank over a sink. Tank bottom is not sloped to the drain, so tip out the last few ounces and dry the drain body after use since the drain fitting is not stainless. Runs on standard 110 V through a 5 ft grounded cord.
