A750E Master Rebuild Kit for Toyota and Lexus Trucks

This is a master rebuild kit for the Aisin-built Toyota A750E (2WD) and A750F (4WD) 5-speed automatic. It is the kit you order when the transmission is out of the truck and coming apart for a full overhaul.

The seller lists fitment for the 4Runner 4.0L and 4.7L from 2003 to 2008, FJ Cruiser 2007-2014, Land Cruiser 2000-2014, Sequoia 4.7L 2005-2008, Tacoma 4.0L 2005-2014, Tundra 4.0L and 4.7L 2005-2014, Lexus GX470 2003-2009 and LX 2003-2007. Confirm the A750E or A750F code on the transmission tag before ordering.

A750 units usually come in with a harsh or delayed 1-2 or 2-3 shift, a flare between gears under load, or burnt fluid after towing. Solenoid and valve body problems cause a lot of the same complaints, so scan for codes and check line pressure before you pull the unit. On the bench, tear it down, inspect the drums, planetaries and bushings, replace every seal and gasket rather than reusing old ones, and pre-soak any new frictions in Toyota WS fluid before assembly. Flush the cooler and lines before the rebuilt unit goes back in, and refill with Toyota WS.
