52-Piece Bushing & Bearing Race Seal Driver Set, 50 Discs

A 52-piece bushing, bearing race, and seal driver set (model TOOLS-00575) built for the bench work that comes up on every transmission and axle rebuild. Instead of hunting for a socket that is close to the right size and mushrooming the edge of a race, you thread the disc that actually matches the bore onto the driver and press it in square.

The set is 50 interchangeable steel discs stepping from 18mm (0.7 in) up to 74mm (2.91 in), a 12mm threaded shaft, and a 180mm (7 in) handle. Pick the disc just under the outer diameter of the race or seal, spin it onto the shaft, and it seats the part flat to the bottom of the bore without cocking or scoring. The same discs pull double duty as drivers for extension housing bushings, output shaft bushings, and axle seals.

It covers the jobs a dedicated single-size driver won't: 4L60E and 4L80E extension housing and case bushings, front pump bushings, wheel bearing races on FWD and RWD hubs, and rubber lip seals on axles and pinions. Discs are carbon steel so they take repeated hammer or press blows without deforming.
