



Hydraulic ram flaring kit that cuts GM transmission cooler line, fuel line, ISO bubble and 45-degree double flares on the vehicle without a bench vise.
This is a hydraulic flaring tool, not a screw-clamp yoke. A hand-pumped ram does the upsetting, so you get a square, concentric flare on hard steel and 304 stainless line without fighting a wrench in a wheel well. That matters most on transmission cooler lines, where the tube runs from the case down to the radiator and you almost never have room to pull the whole line and clamp it in a vise.
The die set covers the flares you actually run into on a domestic driveway: 45-degree inverted single and double flares on 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 and 1/2 inch tube; ISO bubble flares on 4 through 10 mm metric line; GM fuel line flares in 5/16 and 3/8; and push-connect flares in 1/4 through 3/8 for the quick-disconnect fittings GM and Ford use on cooler and fuel lines. A magnetic adapter holder keeps the die seated in the head while you set the tube, which is the step where cheap kits let the die drift and give you a lopsided flare.
Typical job it solves: a rusted cooler line at the radiator fitting on a 4L60E or 4L80E truck. Rather than buying a full replacement line, you cut back to clean tube with the included separation tool, deburr, slide the fitting on, and roll a fresh double flare in place. Same tool handles brake line repair on the same vehicle. Body is 40Cr-V steel and the kit ships in a blow-molded case with the dies, the 45-degree flaring adapter, the tube cutter and the instruction sheet.
