Rolls under a car at 7 inches and lifts a transmission, transfer case, or differential to 23 inches on a tilting, strapped saddle.
This is a dedicated low-profile transmission jack, not a floor-jack adapter. The saddle sits 7 inches off the concrete, so it rolls under a car that is only on jack stands, and it lifts to 23 inches to reach the tunnel on a pickup or a body-on-frame SUV. Rated 450 lb, which covers the common passenger-car and light-truck units: a 4L60E, 4L80E, 6L80, 4R70W, 545RFE, and most transfer cases and differentials.
The saddle swivels a full 360 degrees and tilts, which is the part that matters when you are pulling a unit out of a vehicle sitting on stands. A transmission never comes down level; the tailshaft drops first and the bellhousing has to be rotated and angled off the dowel pins. A fixed saddle fights you the whole way. Two 2-meter straps go over the case before you break the bellhousing bolts loose so the unit cannot walk off the pad when the weight shifts.
Four swivel casters, all four with locking brakes. Lock them while you are unbolting so the jack does not roll away from you, then release to walk the unit out from under the car. Pump handle raises, the release lowers it in a controlled way, so you can bring the transmission down an inch at a time while you keep an eye on the wiring harness and cooler lines.
Steel construction, 45.4 lb, 18.11 x 17.32 inch base. Ships assembled apart from the handle. Universal fit - it is a shop tool, not a vehicle-specific part.
