Complete valve body with all seven solenoids fitted for the Toyota U150E five-speed, OEM 57754FA, for harsh shifts and solenoid codes.
This is a complete valve body assembly for the Aisin-Warner U150E five-speed automatic, supplied with all seven solenoids already fitted. OEM reference is 80030 / 57754FA. It also covers the U151E, U151F and U250E variants of the same family, which Toyota and Lexus used behind the 2GR and 3MZ V6 from roughly 2004 through 2014 in the Camry V6, Avalon, Highlander, Sienna, RAV4 V6, Lexus ES 350 and RX 350. Match your casting and part number to 80030 or 57754FA before you order, because the U-series shares a case profile across several solenoid layouts that are not interchangeable.
The usual reason a U150E lands on the bench is solenoid-side: harsh or flared 1-2 and 2-3 shifts, a delayed engagement into drive after the car has sat, torque converter lockup that buzzes or drops in and out, or the transmission dropping into failsafe and holding one gear. Scan tool codes in the P0750 through P0776 range point at shift and pressure-control solenoid performance, and on a unit with real mileage the failure is usually a combination of a tired linear solenoid and worn valve bores that leak the pressure the solenoid is trying to hold. Replacing individual solenoids in a body with worn bores gets you a repeat.
Swapping the whole body is a pan-off job with the transmission in the car on most of these applications. Drop the pan, pull the filter, unplug the internal harness connectors and the two-piece case connector, then work the retaining bolts out in order and support the body as it comes down so you do not drag the manual valve or bend the park rod link. On reassembly, verify the manual valve engages the detent lever before you start bolts, torque in a criss-cross pattern, fit a new filter and pan gasket, then refill with Toyota WS fluid and set the level by the thermal check procedure with the fluid at operating temperature. These transmissions have no dipstick and are sensitive to level, so skipping the temperature check is how a good valve body gets blamed for a shift complaint.
Clear the adaptive shift memory after installation and let the transmission relearn. Expect the first few miles to shift firmly while the TCM re-adapts line pressure.
