This is the USA Standard Gear ZK F9-A master overhaul kit for a Ford 9-inch rear end, built around Koyo bearings and races. It is the full setup package, not a seal-and-gasket kit: carrier bearings and races, pinion bearings and races, pilot bearing, pinion seal, a complete shim kit, ring gear bolts, pinion nut, crush sleeve, thread locker, and marking compound with a brush.
Fitment matters here. Ford 9-inch third members were built with more than one carrier bearing size, and this kit is the version that uses the LM102910 carrier bearing race. Pull your carrier and read the number on the old race before you order. If your housing runs the larger daytona-style carrier bearings, this is not the kit for that case.
On the bench the order is: pull the old carrier bearings, press the new Koyo carrier bearings on, then set pinion depth with the shims in the kit and check it with the marking compound before you commit to anything else. Once the pattern reads right, move shims side to side to bring backlash into spec, then set pinion bearing preload with the new crush sleeve and pinion nut. Ring gear bolts get thread locker and torque, and the pinion seal goes in last.
This is what you buy when a 9-inch starts to whine under load or howl on decel, when the pinion seal has been dripping, or when you are swapping in a new ring and pinion and need every bearing, shim and fastener in one box instead of chasing part numbers.
