10L Ultrasonic Parts Cleaner, Heated 40kHz Digital Bath

This is a 10 liter digital ultrasonic cleaner sized for the parts that come off a transmission bench: valve bodies, separator plates, solenoids, pump halves, small hard parts, and the throttle bodies and carburetors that come in with them. The 304 stainless tank holds about 2.6 gallons, enough to lay a 4L60E or 4L80E valve body flat in the basket and still close the lid.

The reason to run one is the stuff a parts brush never reaches. At 40 kHz the transducer collapses millions of tiny bubbles against every surface, and that cavitation scrubs varnish, clutch material and fine aluminum out of the drilled passages and check-ball bores where wear and stalls actually start. Set the digital timer, turn on the heater to warm the solution so it cuts grease faster, and let the tank do the work while you tear down the next unit. The included stainless basket keeps parts off the tank floor so they do not sit on the transducer or scratch.

Run it with a water-based ultrasonic cleaning concentrate, not straight solvent or fuel. Rinse and blow the passages dry with compressed air before assembly, and keep electrical solenoids out of the bath unless the manufacturer rates them for immersion.
