A hydraulic press is the tool that turns a bushing or bearing job from a fight into a five-minute task. This H-frame press develops 6 tons through a built-in bottle jack, which is enough to seat and pull the bushings, needle bearings, sprag races, and thrust-washer surfaces you run into on 4L60E, 4L80E, 700R4, and most import automatic and manual cases, plus pilot bearings, ball joints, U-joints, pulleys, and gears on the rest of the vehicle.

The bed height adjusts from 2.2 in up to 9.8 in on a pin system, so you can bracket a small valve-body accumulator bore or an entire drum without swapping fixtures. Two movable stamping plates bridge the bed rails and give you a stable shelf to support the part while the ram comes down, so nothing walks off center under load. The jack carries a relief valve that opens automatically past 6 tons, so you cannot overpressure the frame or the workpiece.

The frame is 0.1 in carbon steel in an H layout with a powder-coated finish that wipes clean of ATF and shop grime. It bolts to the floor or a bench and gives you a press station that pairs with any bushing/bearing driver set for a complete rebuild bench. Assembly is bolt-together out of the reinforced carton.
