Transmission Jack 1100 lb 2-Stage Telescoping 33-67 in

Two-stage telescoping transmission jack rated at 1100 lb (1/2 ton), with a lift range of 33-1/2 in to 67 in. That upper range is what matters if you work on a two-post lift or drive-on ramps: a low-lift floor-style jack tops out well short of a raised truck, and this one reaches the pan of a full-size pickup with the vehicle in the air. The frame is welded steel on a wide base with four swivel casters, so a loaded case rolls out from under the vehicle instead of being wrestled.

The saddle tilts up to 30 degrees on adjustment bolts, which is how you get a case to clear the crossmember and line the bellhousing dowels back up on install. Two safety anchor chains strap the case to the saddle. Pumping is done with the foot pedal so both hands stay on the transmission while it comes up, and the release is a screw-type valve for controlled descent rather than a drop.

Sized for car, light truck and SUV automatics and manuals - 4L60E, 4L80E, 4R100, 6L80, 700R4, 68RFE, TH350/400, NV4500, ZF and similar units all fall under the 1100 lb rating with the pan drained. Heavier Class 3-plus units and transfer-case-attached assemblies should go on a 1-ton stand instead. Drain the fluid before lifting; a full case is heavier than the dry weight on the spec sheet and a sloshing pan moves the center of gravity while it is up in the air.

An auxiliary push ring in the middle of the column gives you something to grab when repositioning the jack under a vehicle. Assembly is bolt-together out of the box - the hydraulic ram, column and base ship separated.
