4R70W Shift Solenoid Kit with Filter, 14-Bolt Pan 2005-2008

A full electrical service kit for the late Ford 4R70W and 4R75W with the 14-bolt oil pan, 2005-2008. You get the shift solenoids, the EPC (electronic pressure control) solenoid and the TCC solenoid, plus a new filter and pan gasket, so the valve body comes out once and everything electrical on it gets replaced together. It replaces kit numbers 76919, 76420, 76921, 76923 and 46118 and Ford F6AZ-7G383-AA, F7AZ-7G484-AA and F5AZ-7G136-A.

Count your pan bolts before you order. The earlier 4R70W used a different pan and filter, so the 14-bolt pan is the quick way to confirm this is the right kit for your truck or Panther car.

Symptoms this fixes: harsh or erratic shifts, stuck in one gear or starting in second, no converter lockup or a shudder at lockup, and codes P0750, P0755 and P0760 for shift solenoid circuits, P0743 for TCC, or P1747 for the EPC circuit. Check resistance and wiring at the case connector first to make sure you have a solenoid problem and not a chafed harness. With the pan dropped and the valve body out, swap the solenoid pack, EPC and TCC solenoids. Then install the new filter and gasket, refill with Mercon V and do a road test to confirm all four gears and lockup.
