6F35 Transmission Master Rebuild Kit with Valve Body

This is a complete overhaul package for the Ford 6F35 six-speed automatic, and it ships with a replacement valve body rather than just the soft parts. You get the friction plates, steel plates, pistons, sealing rings, bushings, the full gasket and seal set, and the valve body assembly, which covers the two jobs that normally turn a 6F35 rebuild into two separate parts orders.

Fitment covers the 2.0L 6F35 as used in Ford Escape 2013-2018, Fusion 2013-2018, Edge 2013-2014, Transit Connect 2014-2018, EcoSport 2018, Police Interceptor Utility 2013-2018, and Lincoln MKZ 2013-2018, MKC 2015-2018 and MKT 2013-2016. Cross-reference part numbers are 144004CN, 144960FK and A144010AB. Verify your case and valve body casting against the unit you pulled before you order, since Ford ran more than one 6F35 generation and the valve bodies are not interchangeable across all of them.

On the bench, the usual 6F35 complaints are a harsh or delayed 1-2 shift, a shudder on the torque converter clutch apply, and slipping in the low/reverse or 2-6 clutch packs. Most of that traces back to worn frictions, hardened lip seals, and bore wear in the valve body that drops line pressure. Replacing the soft parts alone usually leaves the pressure problem in place, which is why the valve body is included here. Soak the new frictions in clean ATF before assembly, set clutch clearance with the correct selective plates, and prime the pump before the first road test.

This is a bench-level parts kit, not a bolt-on repair. You will still need a service manual for clutch clearance specs, a set of transmission-specific snap ring and spring compressor tools, and fresh Mercon LV for the refill.
