Replaces all seven shift, lock-up and pressure control solenoids in the Toyota A750E and A750F five-speed valve body in one job.
This is the full seven-solenoid set for the Aisin A750E and A750F five-speed automatic, the unit Toyota and Lexus also call the TB-50LS. It covers the shift solenoids, the lock-up solenoid and the linear pressure control solenoids that live on the valve body, so you replace the whole electrical side of the shift control in one shot instead of chasing them one at a time.
Fitment per the manufacturer: 2003-2009 Lexus GX470 4.7L, 2003-2007 Lexus LX470 4.7L, 2008-2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.7L, and 2007-2009 Kia Sorento 2.5L and 3.3L. Part references are A750, A750E, A750F, TB-50LS and TB50 LS.
These solenoids are the usual cause of the A750 complaints that land a truck on the lift: a hard or delayed 2-3 shift, a shudder that will not lock up, a flare between gears, or the transmission dropping into limp with a solenoid electrical or performance code. Because the linear pressure solenoids drift as the windings age, an ohm reading that passes on the bench can still be out of range hot, which is why a full set replacement is the repair that actually sticks.
On the bench: drop the pan, pull the filter, unplug the internal harness connectors, unbolt the retainer clips and swap each solenoid one for one, keeping the new O-rings clean and lightly wetted with ATF so they do not roll in the bore. Torque the retainers light -- they thread into aluminum. Refill with the correct Toyota WS fluid and relearn the shift adapts. These are remanufactured units, so expect cosmetic wear on the bodies; the internals and O-rings are new.
