Master overhaul kit for the Toyota AB60E and AB60F 6-speed: frictions, steels, gaskets, seals, O-rings and the spin-on style filter for 5.7L Tundra and Sequoia.
This is the full teardown kit for Toyota's AB60E and AB60F six-speed automatic, the heavy-duty unit behind the 3UR-FE 5.7L V8. It covers 2007-2011 Tundra and 2008-2011 Sequoia, both the rear-drive AB60E and the four-wheel-drive AB60F. Kit includes the friction plate and steel plate sets, the complete gasket and rubber pack (pan gasket, lip seals, sealing rings, O-rings), and the transmission filter, so a bench rebuild does not stall waiting on a second parts order.
The AB60 typically comes apart for one of a few reasons: a slipping or burnt direct clutch pack after a truck has been towing hard, delayed or flared 2-3 and 3-4 shifts from worn frictions, or a leak that starts at the pan rail or the pump seal once the rubber gets old and hard. Because the frictions and steels are packaged together here, you can measure clutch clearance on assembly against the factory spec instead of mixing new frictions against glazed original steels.
Bench sequence is the usual: drop the pan and filter, pull the valve body, remove the pump, then walk the drum stack out. Replace every rubber piece the kit supplies as you reassemble - the sealing rings on the drums and the pump O-ring are where most repeat comebacks originate. Air-check each clutch pack through its feed hole before the case halves go back together. Manufacturer part number ING-GN02211. Shipping weight 8.6 lb.
