Bidirectional full-system scanner that runs 3000+ active tests and reads Engine, Transmission, ABS and SRS codes on most 12V vehicles, 1996 and up.
The ANCEL DS500BT is a bidirectional diagnostic tablet built for full-system work, not just check-engine codes. It runs over 3000 active tests, meaning you can command a component directly from the tool: cycle a cooling fan, fire an injector, actuate an EVAP purge valve, engage an A/C clutch, or drop and re-cycle a window motor to confirm the part actually responds before you spend money replacing it.
Coverage is full-system across supported vehicles: Engine, Transmission, ABS, SRS, BCM, TPMS, steering and suspension. It reads and clears codes, shows live data and freeze-frame, pulls ECU info, and does AutoVIN to identify the vehicle fast. CAN FD support keeps it working on newer models that older readers choke on. On the transmission side you get adaptation and gearbox relearn functions plus live data, which is what you need after a valve body swap, a fluid service, or a solenoid replacement so the trans relearns its shift points instead of banging gears.
It carries 28+ service functions with one-touch shortcuts: Oil Reset, EPB, SAS calibration, BMS reset, ABS bleeding, DPF regen, throttle relearn, injector coding, gearbox relearn and TPMS reset. The VCI connects over Bluetooth 5.0, so you can walk around the vehicle during a scan or an active test instead of being tethered to the port. Reports save, print, and share for repair records.
Fits supported 12V passenger vehicles, generally 1996 and newer (OBD2). Function availability varies by make, model and year. Lifetime free ANCEL software updates, so there is no annual renewal fee to keep coverage current.
