ANCEL FX2000-US OBD2 Scanner - Engine ABS SRS Transmission

The FX2000-US is a wired four-system handheld code reader that talks to the engine, transmission, ABS, and SRS airbag modules. It reads and clears fault codes and streams live data; it is not a bidirectional tool, so it will not command solenoids or run reset services. It ships with a DB15-to-16-pin OBD2 cable and works on most 12V OBD2 cars and light trucks built 1996 and newer.

The reason it earns a spot in a transmission bay is the AT side. It pulls the TCM codes that actually set the light: P0700, P0730 gear ratio error, P0740 torque converter clutch, the P0751/P0756 shift solenoid A and B codes, and P0715/P0720 input and output speed sensor faults. You can read what tripped the transmission before you ever drop the pan, then clear the code after a solenoid swap or rebuild and confirm on a road test that it stays off.

On the engine side it does live data with graphing, freeze frame, O2 sensor test, EVAP, I/M readiness for a smog pre-check, and read/clear of the check engine light. That is useful for ruling the engine out of a drivability complaint before you blame a slipping or flaring transmission.

Enhanced ABS, SRS, and AT coverage is strongest on domestic and common Asian makes; some European systems will report generic OBD2 only. Updates are free for the life of the tool through a Windows PC. Treat it as a diagnostic reader, not a programmer - it reads and clears, it does not relearn adaptives.
