Replaces the worn upper and lower shift forks plus all three release bearings in the Ford DPS6 6DCT250 PowerShift dual-clutch transaxle.
This is the shift fork and release bearing set for the Ford DPS6 (6DCT250) PowerShift dry dual-clutch, the six-speed automatic used in the 2011-2019 Fiesta with the 1.6L and the 2012-2018 Focus with the 2.0L GDI. The kit is three release bearings plus both shift forks - the upper fork serves 1st, 3rd and 5th, the lower fork serves 2nd, 4th, 6th and reverse. They are not interchangeable, so note which came out of which bore before the new ones go in. It replaces Ford part numbers CA6Z-7515-J, CA6Z-7515-K, CA6Z-7A508-E, BV6Z-7A508-A, AE8Z-7515-B and AE8Z-7515-D, and cross-references the LuK 514002110 kit.
Worn forks and collapsed release bearings are the standard failure on this box. The symptom set is shudder pulling away from a stop, a hard or delayed 1-2 and 2-3, slipping under load, and grinding as the box changes gears. On the scan tool it usually shows up as clutch actuator circuit codes - P0902, P0903 and P0904 are the common ones. Ford issued service work on this exact wear point, so if a DPS6 is juddering with those codes, the forks are the first thing to pull and measure, not the clutch pack alone.
The job is transaxle out, clutch assembly off, then both forks and the bearings out of the housing. Plan three to four hours including the part that people skip: after the forks are in, the transmission control module needs a clutch adaptive relearn with Ford IDS/FDRS or FORScan. Without the relearn the TCM keeps applying the old touch point and pressure values, and the car comes back shifting hard with the same codes - a calibration problem being blamed on new parts. Battery should be at 12.6V or better before you start the relearn.
This kit fits PowerShift automatic cars only. It does not fit the five-speed manual, the Focus ST, or the Focus Electric.
