Ford F-150 V6 4WD Front Driveshaft BL3Z-4A376-B

This is a complete front driveshaft assembly that runs from the transfer case front output to the front differential on V6 four-wheel-drive Ford trucks and SUVs. It replaces Ford BL3Z-4A376-B and the BL34-4A376-AA, -AB and -AC service numbers, and arrives assembled with both flange ends on the shaft.

Listed fitment: 2011-2014 Ford F-150 3.5L EcoBoost and 3.7L V6 4WD with the 6R80 6-speed automatic, and 2015-2017 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator 3.5L. The shaft measures about 33.9 inches overall. Match the part number on your old shaft before ordering, since other engine and cab combinations use different front shafts.

The usual reasons to replace one on these trucks are a clunk when 4WD engages, a vibration that shows up only in 4-high, a torn joint boot that has thrown grease over the skid plate, or a joint that has gone notchy after the boot let water in. Once the boot is gone the joint wears quickly, and a complete shaft is usually the faster repair.

Bench notes: put the transfer case in 2WD, mark both flanges so the new shaft goes in with the same indexing, and support the shaft while you remove the bolts at each end so the joints do not overextend. Clean the flange faces and torque the bolts to the factory spec.
