FOXWELL NT919BT Bidirectional Scan Tool with ECU Coding

The FOXWELL NT919BT is the top of Foxwell's NT9 line and it is a full-system tablet, not a four-system handheld. It reads and clears codes, pulls live data, and runs active tests across every module the vehicle exposes: engine, transmission (TCM), ABS, SRS, BCM, TPMS, HVAC, immobilizer and body controllers. The diagnostic interface is wireless, so the dongle stays in the OBD-II port while you carry the 8 inch Android 10 tablet around the car or under it.

For transmission work the value is in the bidirectional side. Codes tell you which circuit complained; active tests tell you whether the part still answers. With 3000+ active tests on tap you can command a shift solenoid, cycle a cooling fan, fire an injector, or run an ABS pump and watch the response in live data instead of replacing parts on a guess. Live data covers the values that decide a transmission diagnosis: fluid temperature, input and output shaft speed, commanded versus actual gear, line pressure duty and TCC slip. ECU coding is supported for module matching and adaptations after a replacement, though coding coverage varies by make, model, year and module and should be checked against your specific vehicle before you buy.

It carries 34+ service functions, the ones that normally send a car back to the dealer after a repair: oil reset, EPB service, ABS automatic bleeding, battery registration and BMS reset, steering angle (SAS) calibration, throttle body adaptation, injector coding, DPF regeneration and TPMS. Protocol support includes CAN FD and DoIP for late-model vehicles, plus FCA Security Gateway access, which is what you need to get past the gateway on 2018-up Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram trucks to touch the TCM at all. Coverage spans 140+ brands across domestic, Asian and European markets.

Software updates are free for the life of the tool, so there is no annual subscription eating into the cost. Tablet measures 11.5 x 4.75 x 7.5 inches shipped and runs on its internal battery.
