GEARWRENCH GWSMARTBT Bidirectional OBD2 Scan Tool, 23 Resets

The GEARWRENCH GWSMARTBT is a Bluetooth OBD2 interface that pairs with the free GEARWRENCH app on your Android or iOS device and turns it into a full-system scan tool. It pulls codes and live data from the engine, transmission, ABS, and airbag modules instead of just generic powertrain codes, so you can chase a transmission fault, a wheel-speed sensor, or an SRS light from the same tool.

The part that matters on a driveability job is bidirectional control. You can command actuators directly - cycle a solenoid, run an ABS auto-bleed, actuate a cooling fan or injector - to confirm a part responds before you condemn it. Live data maps and freeze-frame capture let you watch parameters in real time and see the conditions stored when a code set.
