Full-system bidirectional scan tool for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram from 1996-2026 with 100+ resets, active tests and FCA gateway auth.
The Launch Creader Elite (CRE) is a handheld full-system scan tool built specifically for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicles from 1996 through 2026. Unlike a generic code reader that only talks to the engine over OBD2, this unit reads and clears codes across every module on the vehicle - PCM/engine, TCM/transmission and transfer case, ABS, SRS airbag, BCM body control, TPMS, EPS steering and more - and shows live data from up to four PIDs at once in text or graph form.
It carries the bi-directional control from Launch's X431 platform, so you can command actuators to run instead of guessing: cycle the ABS pump for a bleed, fire individual fuel injectors, run the EVAP/purge solenoid test, kick the cooling fan and A/C clutch, and cycle door locks, windows and mirrors. Active-test and special-function coverage varies by model and year, and older pre-2006 vehicles need a manual brand/year selection instead of AutoVIN.
Over 100 reset services are built in, including ETS throttle relearn, oil service reset, EPB parking-brake reset, SAS steering-angle reset, BMS battery registration, ABS bleeding, TPMS relearn, injector coding, crank/cam relearn and transmission adaption. For 2018-2026 FCA vehicles with a security gateway (SGW), the tool supports FCA AutoAuth so you can get past the gateway to run diagnostics and resets - that requires your own free FCA AutoAuth account.
Hardware is a 4-inch touchscreen running Android 6.0 with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and a 600mAh battery, updated over WiFi with no annual subscription. Charge it at least three hours before first use. It also works as a universal OBD2/EOBD code reader on other makes for engine codes, I/M readiness, Mode 6 monitors and O2 tests.
