LAUNCH Creader Elite X500 GM Bidirectional Scan Tool

This is a GM-only scan tool, and that is the point. Instead of thin coverage spread across every brand, the Creader Elite X500 goes deep on Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac and Buick - ECM, TCM, ABS, SRS, SAS, EPB, BCM, fuel and lighting modules. One-touch AutoVIN identifies GM vehicles from 2006 up and runs a full module scan without you picking through menus.

On the transmission side you get TCM trouble codes, live data and the transmission reset and gear reset routines. That covers the work that actually comes up on a 6L80, 6L90, 8L90 or 10L80 after a valve body, a solenoid pack or a rebuild - clearing adapts so the unit relearns shift timing instead of carrying old pressure corrections into a fresh build. Live data can be shown four ways at once: text, graph, analog gauge or digital value, which makes it far easier to spot a turbine speed sensor dropping out or line pressure not tracking commanded pressure.

Bidirectional control sends commands straight to actuators - solenoids, relays, fuel pump, cooling fans, A/C clutch, windows, mirrors, wipers - so you can verify a repair without a road test. The full reset list is included with no per-function charge: oil, EPB, SAS, ABS bleeding, throttle relearn, transmission reset, TPMS, injector trim, BMS and gear reset.

Hardware is Android 8.1 on a 4 inch touchscreen with 2GB RAM, 64GB storage, a 3000mAh battery and a detachable USB cable. Updates are one-click over WiFi with no SD card or PC needed. Reports print or email in English; the interface supports 12 languages. Standard OBD2 coverage - all ten modes, I/M readiness, freeze frame - works on any 1996 and newer OBD2 vehicle, but the full-system and bidirectional depth is GM only.
