Four-system scan tool that reads and clears engine, transmission, ABS and SRS codes with graphing live data on cars 1996 and newer.
The Launch CRP123X V3.0 Elite is a four-system code reader that covers the engine, transmission, ABS and airbag (SRS) modules, so you can pull and clear transmission fault codes without a trip to the shop. It runs full OBD2/EOBD on any 1996-or-newer car and light truck, and adds CAN FD and DoIP support for 2020-and-newer GM, Ford and other vehicles that older readers cannot talk to.
For transmission work the useful part is the graphing live data stream. You can watch transmission fluid temperature, input and output shaft speed, gear commanded versus actual, and TCC lockup in real time while the vehicle is running or on a test drive, which is how you separate a real hydraulic or solenoid problem from a stored ghost code. Read the code, look up the definition on the tool with the built-in DTC library, verify it against live data, then clear it and recheck.
It also carries seven reset services that used to require a dealer visit: throttle body relearn, oil light reset, steering angle (SAS) reset, brake pad/EPB service, battery (BMS) registration, DPF regeneration and ABS bleeding. Auto VIN pulls the vehicle identity so you are not hunting through menus. Updates are free for the life of the tool over Wi-Fi.
This is a plug-in handheld with a color screen; no phone, subscription or app is needed to read and clear codes. Good for a home garage or a small shop that wants transmission and ABS coverage without paying for a bidirectional bench tool.
